Kylie and Adam’s Eldorado Wedding

J&R Engagement Session

This engagement session was beautiful! This couple was game for anything and I cannot wait to shoot their wedding next summer! We shot at Shannon Lake golf course just before sundown and the shoot was so lengthy that we actually got locked in the course. You gotta do what you gotta do to get the shots!

Thanks guys! 🙂

Maternity Session @ The El

The Hotel Eldorado is one of my favourite places to shoot at. It is classy and unique and was an awesome place to shoot a maternity session/baby shower. This one was back when the weather was hot and sunny here in Kelowna sunny and this beautiful mama has since had her sweet little boy!

The Baumgartners

From a beautiful marriage to this little guy growing up, I love watching this family grow! Thanks you guys for always making me laugh behind the camera!

Laurie & Ryan!

Back in the spring my cousin Laurie came down for a visit with her fiancé who I finally got to meet! They also brought Dezi the dog to join in on the photos and he was a great help! 🙂 I’m glad I got to help out with their engagement photos as I am sadly missing their wedding to shoot another…. story of a photographer!

Anyways… Congratulations Laurie & Ryan wishing you guys the best!

xoxo

Baby Jaylin

Now that winter is finally here I have some free time and I can finally catch up and purge all of the posts that have been waiting for me! Happy Holiday season to everybody!… Hopefully this sweet little girl reminds everyone to soak up this time with family and friends. Spread the Cheer! 🙂

Family Session – Shannon Lake

Shot this beautiful family session near the lake by my house. There was a light rain that day that brought low cloud and made for some gorgeous shots. Families and clients – don’t be discouraged by a little rain on your photo day. It usually makes for beautiful backdrops and a little something different… Enjoy!

Peachland Engagement session!

This session was so perfect. This summer I shot this lovely couple in Peachland. Through the day I was a little concerned about how the weather was going to go but the eerie clouds and storm that blue past us really worked out in our favour. The dark clouds gave for a cozy and different feel and the little bit of wind gave for great effects!

The location Nicole & Ben chose was where they had first met down by the lake where Ben works as a lifeguard. How cute! Couldn’t get them in the water for this one though, they both looked too great!

Nicole is a fellow photographer and classmate and I couldn’t be happier for these two to tie the knot next year!

Congrats! xo

Lovely Ladies!

A while ago I did some mother daughter photos with some pretty familiar people. 🙂 This cloudy summer day provided me with some neat expansive shots. Thanks girls for the fun morning!

Beautiful Backyard Wedding M&K

This beautiful backyard wedding almost didn’t happen due to the West Kelowna fire earlier this summer. The surrounding area had been evacuated and this couple didn’t find out until the morning of their big day that their wedding was actually going to happen! … sigh of relief! It was a blustery day but the sun was out and in the end the whole day turned out picture perfect!

Congrats to this lovely bride & groom who are also expecting in December!

All the best Melissa & Kyle. xo
